My life's Story
At that moment I been waiting my whole life to graduate because when I was little I was diagnosed with "ADHD" which stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. So when I was in school I had problems and doing my school work like normal kids my age. Now by the time I was in high school the disorder started to fade away like I never had it in the first place. I guess as I got older the problems just was not problems anymore. Around the time I graduated high school I wanted to show my family that no matter what was going on I was not going to let it stop me from living my dreams as a Radiology Technician.
After high school my next journey was college so I started here at Blinn this past Fall of 2017 to jump start my major as a Radiology Technician in the medical field. I picked this major because I love a challenge to help people in any type of way possible. So far it has been a crazy ride but I have 4 solid years to go before I reach for my dreams. I hope you like my life's story. I hope it makes you think about your dreams and for whatever problems or reasons, do not let it take you away from your dreams because it did not Take mine away.
Kayla, You could do a lot worse than being related to either Jerry Lee Lewis or Mickey Gilley. People tell me all the time I look like a member of the Duck Dynasty clan. I do not consider this a compliment. So see? You could have it worse.
ReplyDeleteGood on you for holding to you goals of Radiology Technician. You've got a lot of work ahead of you, but a solid, high demand career on the other side. And as you grow in your attention skills, the academic work will only prove to be less and less of a hassle.
Thanks for a solid introduction.
You seem like a really cool person! But four years to reach your dreams is not so bad, you can make it.
ReplyDeleteI also struggle from ADHD and dyslexia I TOTALLY understand your situation. As a struggling student as well, I would like to achieve what I can and see how far I can go with out giving up, despite my issues.
ReplyDeleteThat's litty that you want to be in the medical field as well. I wanted to be radiology tech at some point but, I felt surgical tech was more up my ally. I wish you the best!!!
ReplyDeleteI really liked reading your essay I know the feeling of ADHD and I know you will achieve your goals keep up the motivation
ReplyDeleteI may not know about ADHD, but I had Autism since I was little. It was struggle to look in a future for my dream and goal.
